This notice discloses the privacy practices of Awake DBT Marriage & Family Therapy, Inc. This privacy notice applies solely to information collected by this website. It will notify you of the following:

- How it can be corrected
- How it is secured

- How to address concerns over misuse of data.
Information Collection, Use and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may email us or call us to change or correct any data we have about you. You can ask us to delete any data we have about you. Please note, after we contact you via email, we may save a hard copy of your interest in our organization, but will not save any emails or electronic correspondence. If you would like us to destroy the hard copy, please inform us to do so.
We take precautions to protect your information. As stated, we do not keep initial prospecting emails that come to firstname.lastname@example.org. We also follow HIPPAA guidelines in regards to your personal health information in our charts, once you become a client.

We follow the laws and requirements of the Board of Behavioral Sciences and are active members with our professional association the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT).
